Vacation times & Pricing changes

Hello Fibre Friends! I hope all of your projects are going well. 

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was away helping my family out west for a few weeks. Believe it or not my parents still don't have a computer - thus no internet - making it challenging to stay in touch. And once I returned home I was ill for a while. Thankfully I'm beginning to feel better. However, it is just in time for me to disappear again though it is for a good reason - I'm going on a family vacation. It is a cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona with my husband and his parents.

This means starting on August 30th, 2014 through to September 17th, 2014 I will be away. Any order placed during the aforementioned time will be shipped upon my return. I will have limited access to the internet on the cruise so it may take me a few days to respond to any emails you might send.

In late September we will be adding a new line of Knitting Needles to our catalogue as well as some new yarns for both knitting and weaving. Also we will be adding some Specialty Kits to our catalogue which are exclusive to Fibre Detours.

As you know one of our goals is to provide our customers with great products at reasonable prices. That said many of our distributors are issuing price increases to take effect on September 1st, 2014. But since I will be away I've opted to not increase any prices until after I return. In fact, our retail prices will remain as they are until October 1st, 2014!

After October 1st, the retail cost of many items will increase including the big ticket items like spinning wheels, drum carders, and looms, etc. Why am telling you this now? Well as a consumer I dislike when I've been thinking of / or saving for a big ticket item only to find out that the price went up without any notice.
